An Excuse to Get Together
It was great to all get together at Patrick and Ruth’s home. The Saturday potluck/party was decidedly a success. Some fine dishes and great conversation. I can speak to the fact that the men of the group joined together for some great fellowship outside on the porch with some cigars to spur on the discussion. Discussions ranged from politics, to sports to faith, to travel. We were even treated to an impromptu flute and piano duet! It was an enjoyable event and a great opportunity to get to know each other better. Yet another cheers to Patrick and Ruth for hosting!
